Sheriff Sales

To schedule a Sheriff Sale, please contact us by calling 920-388-3100 or by email at: recordsrequest@kewauneeco.org

A sheriff sale is a public auction of property repossessed in the event of an unpaid obligation, and is generally done because a mortgage lender repossessed the property and will try to sell it. A sheriff sale may be held for properties seized to satisfy judgement liens or tax liens.

Sheriff sales occur on Tuesdays at 10:00 am in the lobby of the Kewaunee County Courthouse, 613 Dodge St. in the City of Kewaunee.

While it is the intention of our web team to keep the sheriff sale information as current as possible, occasionally sheriff sales are cancelled by the law firm handling the sale with very little time before the actual sale. We make every effort to keep the public informed of any cancellations or changes in sales; however, sometimes they occur quicker than we can publish.
